Abstract
Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery or MSICS is a technique which every post graduate has to learn. In the course of their training, PGs are made to learn through the steps of MSICS to get better at it. Once they have performed 100 to 200 cases, they move towards getting optimal visual results for their patients. Usually by this time, they have finished their course and move on to fellowships of various kinds or get into practise. This course is intended for this group of young ophthalmologists who want to do MSICS but are striving for better outcomes for their patients. Fine tuning their skills would enable them to get better results in cataract surgery whether it be MSICS or Phacoemulsification.
