Abstract

Glaucoma is a leading cause of irreversible blindness which can be prevented if detected and managed early. Glaucoma management comes in the domain of comprehensive ophthalmologists as well the specialists. Hence every attempt should be made to promote the right practice pattern and improve the standard of glaucoma care among the budding ophthalmologists and general ophthalmic surgeons. That includes right clinical examination techniques, OCT interpretation, field analysis and the medical and surgical managements. The purpose of this instruction course is to discuss the commonly occurring mistakes while managing glaucoma patients the knowledge of which can improve the patient care with a better outcome
