Abstract

Ophthalmic instruments are very expensive and adding an imaging modality makes it even more expensive. Smartphone have been on our fingertips and the use of which extends to ophthalmology. This instruction course explains how one can do it yourself i.e create your own device and image structures from anterior segment(ASPI), anterior chamber angle(aspi-gonio), cobalt blue imaging(scooby doo), LOCS cat grading(slitscope), retinoscopy imaging (gimbalscope), trash to treasure retcam), microscopy (iolscope), SLIM, softwares and apps, pedagogy and patient counselling tools. This IC will help all ophthalmologists to make and use their imaging device in a very frugal way to document, teach, to give appropriate treatment also
