Abstract

Wet lab is essential for post graduate training in ophthalmology.  They give the chance to regularly perform the processes of a surgery while allowing them to study and practise in a risk-free setting without the threat of a failure or complication. We list all the essential components needed to set up a wet lab and enhance the trainees' surgical proficiency. Various eyeball fixating technologies, eye preparation for various ocular procedures, and the function of simulation-based training in the present day are also included in the topic. A wet lab would aid in offering a secure and standardised training method without the dangers associated with working on actual eyes. As a result, the student will be more prepared for operating on a live eye.We try to demonstrate various surgical procedures, setting up of a wetlab , cost effective indigenous methods for wet lab training.
