Abstract
Diabetes melitus is the non infectitious epidemic of this era. This results in increased incidence of diabetic retinopathy and increase in number of persons with severe visual loss. As a general ophthalmologist one should know how to screen for diabetic retinopathy and the apt time for referring these patients for medical and surgical management. We are planning a case based discussion on this topic hoping that this IC will be useful for general ophthalmologist
