Abstract

Effective patient communication is a central clinical function in building a good provider-patient relationship. Patients and patient care have evolved ,so doctors too have to update their communication skills accordingly . This instruction course aims to address the topics such as the importance of communication skills, building a quick rapport with the paediatric patient, verbal and non verbal cues in communication etc. This IC also aims to be an interactive session with the audience involvement wherever possible as it's one of the effective modes of communication in adult- learning.. Role plays might be also be included .
