Abstract

Anterior segment imaging aids in diagnosis and management of glaucoma. Once, non-accessible areas of ciliary sulcus, zonules, ciliary body were able to be imaged. The role of lens in glaucoma is better understood with the advent of anterior segment imaging. It is particularly useful in differentiating various types of angle closure. Identifying underlying pathophysiology helps in targeted treatment. It has become important tool in assessment of congenital glaucoma. It is particularly useful in cases with non-transparent cornea. Identification of certain bleb morphology has predictive value to success of bleb on long-term. This instruction course is planned to be an interactive clinical case scenario-based one. It aims to enable its audience to decide on when an anterior segment imaging is required, when to choose between an ASOCT or UBM and how to interpret them.
