Abstract

In response to the growing prevalence of dry eye syndrome, there is a need for specialized care within everyday optometric and ophthalmological practices. By integrating a dedicated Dry Eye Clinic into existing facilities, practitioners can offer comprehensive assessment which will help accurately diagnose the underlying causes of dry eye and formulate personalized treatment strategies, ranging from lifestyle adjustments to advanced therapies. This will also contribute to the advancement of dry eye research and treatment modalities, ultimately improving the quality of life for countless individuals affected by this prevalent ocular disorder.
