Abstract
Primary angle-closure glaucoma is potentially a devastating disease, responsible for half of glaucoma-related blindness worldwide. Risk of primary angle-closure glaucoma is high among women, the elderly and the hyperopic, and it is most prevalent in Asia. Acute angle closure is an ocular emergency which presents with severe pain and acute vision loss. This instruction course is designed to give an overall idea about clinical picture, investigations, diagnosis, and management of this potentially blinding entity.
