Abstract

Non-strabismic binocular vision anomalies (NSBVA) represent a critical area of concern in eye care, with a notable transition in near work compared to previous generations. There is an increased incidence of non strabismic vision anomalies due to increased visual demand in the present generation. The symptoms are often misunderstood and ignored and so there is false diagnosis unless a complete orthoptic evaluation is performed. Vision therapy provides a promising treatment and also improves the quality of life. The awareness about this topic is very essential. In this Instruction Course we are going to cover the basics of binocular vision, the tests to diagnose non strabismic binocular vision anomalies and treatment.
