Abstract
Elevation of IOP IS A common scenario after globe trauma, be it non surgical (open/closed globe) or surgical. All ophthalmic specialists will have to manage such cases from time to time. This IC aims to give a brief overview of the causes and mechanisms of IOP elevation and the optimal management in such cases. A few demonstrative cases will be highlighted and their management will be detailed, with surgical videos where necessary. This IC aims to help the specialist and general ophthalmologist make the right decision at the right time to optimize the IOP in such cases to prevent vision loss in the long term due to Glaucoma.
