Abstract

Orbital diseases are often a diagnostic challenge to many of us in our daily clinical practice. Conditions presenting as hot orbit can be ranging from trivial infections and allergic reactions to vision threatening or even life threatening diseases. So it is very important to thoroughly evaluate these cases and have a good knowledge about the probable causes for it. We aim to give an outlook on the evaluation and management of orbital diseases with emphasis on specific diagnostic challenges. The topics are divided in such a way that it covers common presentations like orbital infections, inflammatory diseases, vascular lesions, thyroid eye disease, orbital trauma and tumors of the orbit. Each speaker will be updating the recent diagnostic and therapeutic options for the same
