Abstract

Ptosis is not an uncommon clinical scenario. It is very important for a general ophthalmologist to identify the cause and to provide prompt and appropriate treatment. Surgical management of ptosis-time of surgical interference, appropriate surgery, tackling the complications are a must know knowledge for an oculoplastic surgeon. This instruction course aims to provide a comprehensive guidance on evaluation and management of ptosis. It also deals with complex ptosis cases -their management and provides an insight on newer ptosis surgeries.
