Abstract

Ophthalmic problems are not uncommon in neonates and infants , and they often pose a challenge to the practising ophthalmologist .Early identification and appropriate management is of paramount importance . In this IC we discuss the good practice standards for general ophthalmologists , to facilitate timely referral to the specialists, and thereby prevent visual impairment .
