Abstract

Ocular trauma can be a serious threat to vision, especially if not intervened appropriately and in a timely fashion. Immediate and accurate diagnosis and effective treatment is the key to save the eyes and visual function. It is a great challenge to ophthalmologists, especially in the casuality.Documentation is also of utmost importance in view of the medico legal implications. As ophthalmologists we are bound to have precise and clear knowledge about all grades of injuries. By this Instruction course, we intend to stress and reinforce about the correct methods -evaluation,documentation,management and timely referral of a patient with trauma.
