Abstract

Description- Diabetic retinopathy (DR) causes microvascular damage to the retina, leading to vision-threatening complications of diabetic retinopathy includes diabetic macular edema (DME) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR), which have greatly improved over the past decade dueto improved understanding and advancements in treatment.Objective- Our objective is to reveal recent imaging modalities used to evaluate and treating vision threatening diabetic retinopathy.
