Abstract
Recent advances in retinal imaging have changed the way we diagnose , prognosticate and treat majority of retinal pathologies. Multimodal imaging systems plays an important role in improving disease diagnostics and therapeutic guidance by enhancing the contrast, resolution and functionality of existing technologies. But in daily practice very few retina specialist have access to these high end , exorbitantly costly gadgets. Our instruction course touches upon these innovative techniques of retinal imaging emphasising their unique features and clinical applications and try to justify the cost incurred by both the patient and the treating physician . With advent of artificial intelligence (AI), the scope of these imaging modalities have widened.
