Abstract

Entrepreneurship in Ophthalmology is fraught with trials and tribulations. Though the challenges are exciting to win through, it is no overstatement that many of the lessons are learnt the hard way and much blood and sweat would have been spilled before you actually got a grasp of the situation. In this session, we try to analyze the paths traversed by doc-preneurs with insightful introspection, clarity of hindsight and honest conversations. The session covers topics on legal and statutory compliances, finance, marketing, team building and trade-offs. This session provides an opportunity to hear from the 'horses' mouth' for anyone interested in understanding about the struggles of entrepreneurship and to navigate their own path within the maze. We highly recommend this session for young ophthalmologists and other aspiring entrepreneurs, eager to start their own ophthalmic practice.
