Abstract
Management of strabismus requires a tailored approach. It is very essential as a Strabismologist to assess every patient systematically and plan treatment . Non-surgical methods incudes Glasses, occlusion therapy , vision therapy and prisms. Not every case of strabismus requires surgery. Chemodenervation in the form of Botox injection have also shown promising results. It is one of the emerging and promising modality to treat certain forms of strabismus. Surgical management of strabismus again requires appropriate planning and a clear idea of the post operative outcome. This instruction course offers a practical guide on how to manage strabismus effectively through various modalities. There will be also a case based discussion so that it benefit even general ophthalmologists. Our esteemed speakers will be sharing their practical tips on how to approach a strabismus case in a systematic manner and plan management with ease.
