Abstract

Ophthalmic surgery is evolving at a rapid pace with introduction of newer techniques and technology. The culmination of a successful cataract surgery is placement of IOL and visual rehabilitation. However in scenarios where in the bag placement is not possible, Secondary IOLs come to rescue. Various newer surgical innovations are being added to the ever expanding kitty. This IC aims at providing crisp VIDEO AND CASE BASED DISCUSSIONS of all the commonly used secondary IOLs with PRACTICAL TIPS ON PLANNING OF SURGERY AND IMPLANTATION TECHNIQUES.
